Same old chicken and ribs on the smoker, but this time I changed up to the Cornish hens. Both have Jeff’s original rub ( modified my way) will finish one or both with my apricot glaze.

Nothing special. 1/2 pint of home made apricot jam. Pinch of salt, and fresh cracked pepper. 2Tbs. Of low sodium soy sauce (I use kikkoman) and 1 Tbs of granulated garlic. Pretty simple, but very effective.
 
Lookin good . Just put a whole bird in my dutch oven . Getting ready to rain again .
Those are gonna be great . Love the apricote glaze . Try it with some bourbon and brown sugar .
Waiting for the finish .
