Hello this Forum is awesome the people are so nice and helpful. My name is Keith , this is my third season smoking I am still a newbie but it sure is fun to smoke. live in Wisconsin and have a small hobby farm. with apple and pear trees on the property its fun to smoke with fruit wood and try new recipes. I have a POS upright home depot cheep o smoker that I started making mods on after my third smoke. Funny how many of you talk about making mods to your smokers almost immediately after purchase. My next smoker I am thinking will be an offset type or home built model not sure yet. I enjoy reading your reviews and pros and cons.

Welcome from SC, Keith. As you said, this is an awesome site. There are lots of folks who are ready to share their ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a pretty nice day in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
