Hi I just had to post this..Purchased a new WSM 22" smoker when I put it together I noticed small openings when the bottom vents were closed.
I sent 2 e mails to Weber customer service regarding the small openings.
Today I received an E mail from Weber informing me a new bowl was on the way.

 Made my day, I didn't want to mess around with trying to get the vents to close all the way

Now that is what I call GREAT customer service.. Hats off to Weber.

PS I never asked about a new bowl. Just that I was concerned about regulating temps n shutting down.
 
Did you buy a Weber so you have something to use for smaller cooks? I see you also have the Shirley.

Hi The Weber is mostly for over night cooks. The Shirley is when I want to spend the day home feeding it logs. Shirley is for NFL Sundays.

Had an issue with the igniter on my brand new Weber natural gas grill after assembling it. Emailed Weber on a Sunday and within the hour had a response and a New igniter on the way the next day.

Had a question about my wsm and got a comprehensive reply with a few hours.

One of the best companies to deal with if necessary.
