huge meat sale...I think?

walking out the door to a truckload meat sale... from what I understand the local grocery store literally has a refer truck in the parking lot full fo meat and everything is on sale! I am taking the camera!!!

When I was working at Hy-Vee one of the stores I used to work at did that a couple times a year with catfish. We'd sell so many cases of catfish (most people would buy at least a case) it was crazy. Great deals were to be had. Hope you stumbled on something similar!

Good sale, not "great"... it is pretty cool to walk into a regrigerated truck and see pallets of meat though!!!
Pork butts $1.19/lbs, spares $1.49/lbs, picked up a bologne chub... haven't smoked one of them in a while!!

Butts are .99 here at least every other week.
spares $1.49 is a good price. normally $1.79 here.
