Hey everyone, i am in need of a supply of wood for smoking and BBQing. I am opening up my first BBQ restaurant. I am looking for Hickory, Apple, Cherry and some Pecan. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again all.
That would be my suggestion. Find out when they do their seasonal trimming and offer to come help with "cleanup"! Also some orchards like Blakes also have pear, peach, plum, nectarine, and other woods you could use.
My suggestion would be to start calling around to apple orchards.
Working on it Chaz. Will get back with you asap.I agree King, I am looking for split logs around 5 inches long and no bigger than 4 inches in diameter. All wood needs to be free of pesticides. I will pick up if the cost is a big difference.
