Hey Guys,
I did a lot of research here lurking around your forum and chatting with some of the members about how to do a large whole hog on a homemade grill for a friends wedding of about 170 people. Well it's over now I have to say that everything went spectacularly well with a 210lb dressed-no head pig and 18 hours low and slow for the cook!
I have an imgur album I've put together explaining the process but if anyone needs the spreadsheet I used to calculate the scaled up sauce recipes or diagram out the grill I can probably help you out with that too!
I've learned a lot doing this kind of a cook for my first time, but I would have been in hot water without places like this forum, amazingribs.com, reddit.com/r/bbq, Malcom Reeds Youtube vides, etc.
Cheers~!
