Ok, Finally got over myself and said....."Just do it".

I have a dozen half chickens in my new propane MasterBuilt

Here is what I did:

Water in pan.

Partially soaked hickory chips in original pan.

Now smoking at roughly 275ish.

Recommendations, suggestions, what should I change?

So, after on hour, they LOOK gorgeous....but the IT was not close, maybe 100.

Is this how they should look maybe after an hour?

,  Be safe and cook to Internal Temperature of 165*f  ( or above ) in the thickest part of the Breast and Thighs . A temp . of 300*f for cooking is good for promoting a crisp skin , and take those temps . in the Meat for sure... be safe...

Wow....impressed even myself.

So, cooked them for 3 hours.....took internal temps and they were great.

They were delicious!   Moist meat, crisp skin, great smokey taste.

Now, need to go find cleaning suggestions.
