I was looking into a new MES, but after a visit to a local shopping center i found a Smoke Hollow Gas Smoker. I have a Smoke Hollow Electric currently. Any ideas on this?

I think they are decent smokers but I'd be tempted to go to Bass Pro and pick up the 24" wide GOSM I think they are 199 bucks and the extra width is sure nice. Briskets and ribs fit in without cutting them then

That's not a bad price at all. I paid $149.99 for a 30" SH (#5) directly from Smoke Hollow themselves (included S/H and a nice cover though). So far I love mine.

I think it's well built, smokes well, and does the job. Just doesn't have the 'marketing' out there like the GOSM and others.

I'm with jerry (pineywoods) with this one to. I have a GOSM small unit that is just like the one your looking at and it's a good smoker but the size is the only thing that is a problem. If you have a chance to getthe GOSM big block or even jump up to the Smoke Vault 24" you will be much happier in the long run.

I'm with the group that suggests you get the biggest you can get. Which ever type you get...Have fun and post Q-views when you can.
