As some of you know I've been drawing up a couple new smokers on AutoCAD and SolidWorks. My 13 yr old son saw what I was doin and asked if he could try it. I told him to sketch it up first with pencil so he has a general idea of the type he wants. He said it will be a small one, his size of smoker.
Let me fill you in on my son a little bit. He is very advanced in art. He can draw a picture perfect deer, elk, moose, wolf or whatever you want. He is also a drummer. He's only been playing since February 09 and many have said he is a natural if not gifted.
With that in mind, he brought me back his drawing of a smoker with a side fire pit like mine only they looked like converted drums (not barrels) but playing drums. And on top of the stack he had a hood on it similar to mine only it was a cymbal. It was totally awesome. I can't find it now but when he comes home, I will get it and scan it.
I've seen locomotive smokers, hog lookin smokers etc. but I have never seen a smoker like Jacob designed. LOL
