So you're hanging out with Tom Hanks on a UPS plane, things go wrong and you crash into the ocean, Hanks doesn't make it, a huge wave washed him away. You notice he had been holding on to a giant package that contains all kinds of fruit and hardwoods, you wash up on shore the next day with your wood and discover now extinct natives used to live here and they had built a smoker out of rocks and it is a pretty fine looking rig.
There are many kinds of animals on the island, even cows-they probably were riding the UPS plane too, anyway-you have your choice of woods and meat but no spices.
You discover some fruiting pepper plants and harvest the berries and gather some sea salt that had collected and dried on a rock so s&p are taken care of.
In the distance you notice a golden beam shining from the sand, you pick it up, clean it off and POOF! A genie pops out and tells you you can have any spice in the world, what do you choose?
Remembering that s&p are already available.

Mine would have to be chipotle powder.

What would yours be?

I was gonna say cayenne also, but you said we had pepper plants so I guess I would have to go with Garlic.

Garlic, Pepper, & Salt could make anything delicious

I would have to agree with you guys....Garlic and lots of it

Wow, completely forgot all about garlic, true that would be one thing that would be hard to cook without.

Also, the pepper refers to peppercorns, not hot pepper plants.

I gotta go with chef Paul's Magic Barbecue Seasoning... Simply the best.

I would have to take Garlic also but if I could have a bottled of seasoning I would have to go with Zatarian's cajun seasonings. I use it on everything I cook/ smoke/or grill.

Dang that's a toughie!

Went over several in my mind and after careful consideration would have to go with Spanish Saffron.

WIll make any dish a treat, and I'm guessing I'd probably be eating quite a bit of seafood too.

It would have to be garlic since S&P are already there. If it could be a blend, It would be without question the "More Spice" version of Tony Chachere's seasoning...second place in the blend category would be Cavender's Greek.

I use the Tony Chachere's more spice version in place of salt...and like the man says, use it like salt, and when your dish is salty enough, it is spiced to perfection...believe it.
