Ok, so for my parents anniversary, moms birthday, and Father’s Day, my brother is gonna cook some ribs sand I’m cooking a pork butt. It’s 6.7 pounds and I spread some Jeff’s rub on it. Will put it on about 4 Am and will get it ready to take tomorrow at about 2 pm.

At what temp are you cooking at? Electric smoker?

Started the MES 40 BT electric smoker at 270, the after it hit 140 I turned it down to 225. This was about 3 hours into the cook. I cooked it until 1:30 when it reached an IT of 190. Wrapped in towels and put in cooler and went to my parents at 2:00. At about 3:30 I pulled it with my bear claws and everyone raved about it as usual.
