Some more snow porn...27 degree with windchill about 15 degree,should be some major drifting later...Pulled 2 cars out of snow this morning.

probably 14 inches plus and snowing hard....





Scraped a area off near bird feeder and set a timer to measure the rate of snow...Inch and half from 2 p.m to 3p.m.

Put come cracked corn and safflower out for the other birds,must be 30 of em underdeck and 20 on deck feeder...







The local safeway is empty...My brother saw a lady last night with 3 gallons of milk.He asked if she liked/drank alot of it and she said"not really" LOL....People get strange in maryland.I never missed a day of school for snow in alaska,but they will be shut down for a bit here...

Few more buffalo wings and a beer and going to shovel/blow some more...

Supposed to be flying down to Venice, FL tomorrow at 06:30....not going to happen.
Finally got through to US air, and they told me "your call will be answered in 193 minutes!!!! three f*&^%$g hours on hold??!

I think not. Going to be a long week.

THIS is exactly why I fill the smoker, and then freeze most of it. Tonight I'm having smoked chicken, ribs, and mac&cheez. Whipped up some slaw to go with it, and there's plenty of cold beer sittin' out in the snow... life is good.

That is funny..LOL.Very true.I decided to get off roads at 11 a.m.
The roads were o.k. for my lifted 4x4 ford,but the folks driving them were definetly out of their element....

Dude,

They get 2 inches of snow and it shuts down the airport. I lived there for 27 years and if they were calling for 2 inches of snow they would close schools the night before even if it wasnt snowing.

This guy came and hung out for about an hour.


This is what the Egg looked like tonight so I had to do my stromboli and pig candy in the (gasp) OVEN....



The dog doesn't seem to mind it...

I pulled the brisket off a couple of hours ago. The smoker is still cooling down, decided to nix the burnt ends.

Everything has kicked up around here, at least 3" and coming down harder then it was before. Supposed to last through tomorrow. Fun.

Started snowing here in Worcester County (Mass) 'bout an hour ago. Butt's are at 180 with a full load of RO in the basket. Current temp outside is 22 and the snow's a'blowing to the side. Almost wish I had picked up some Jalapeno and thawed a Jimmy D. Dang I'm hungry!

I jokingly told my wife beginning of the week that I wanted to have pulled pork sammies this weekend and asked if she minded some snow...

We only got 9" of snow this time, and my cleanup crew made short work of it----See Below:

2 1/2" of snow here. Thankfully I only had to shovel about 1/2 my walk and driveway due to helpful neighbors with snowblowers.

Wish I had something like that Bearcarver, tractor helps but that would have been awesome.
Still hard to move with all the shoveling I did.
