New to the Forum

Hello All!

Name is Mel.  Retired Air Force Officer.  Live outside of Battle Groundl, WA, which is in SW Washington State, across the Columbia River from Portland, OR. We have a motor home and spend winters in the Foothills area of Yuma, AZ.  Sort of half Yuman. 

New to SMF.  Been cooking and grilling for many years.  Still consider myself a novice.  Current equipment includes a Weber Kettle, a  Weber Q propane portable grill, and my Meco electric water smoker.  Have another Weber Kettle and a large propane grill that I use when not on the road.

I'm told I do ribs and turkey pretty good.  I enjoy a rare steak as well.  In fact, I just enjoy cooking and eating.  An occasional adult beverage is okay as well.

I've recently had my interest in smoking meat rekindled, and I am looking forward to learning a lot from the rest of you on the forum.
