My names Mike and I just recently joined the forums here. Really looking forward to trying all your tips and tricks. A little bit about me, I've been working in restaurants since I was 11 years old, started cooking when I was 14. I'm now 28 and have been head chef at our establishment for the passed 8 years. I have 3(2, 4 and 8) kids and a wife, and food has become my passion. After all these years of cooking, I've decided its time for something different. Diving into the smoker scene seemed the most intriguing to me. Weekends outside, by a pit with the kids in the back yard sounds pretty good. I could go on forever, but that about sums it up.
I just picked up a GMG Daniel Boone Wifi model. (control panel died after one use, is getting replaced under warranty.) Im already wanting to throw money at a stick burner for times like this lol.
