My name is Brian, I've been into cooking/grilling/everything food since I was about 10 when I cooked an Easter dinner for my mom.
I grill with a Members Mark Event Grill I picked up from Sam's Club, (love it by the way).
I tried smoking in the past with a charcoal smoker but I've always been to busy to take the time. I just bought a Masterbuilt 40" electric smoker from THD online this last week.
Yesterday I dry rubbed some St Louis Style Ribs and tried my hand at smoking with an electric smoker. I did the 2-2-1 method and because I like the taste of meat more than smoke I was able to get just enough smoke on them to make them, well
incredibly delicious. I brushed one slab with some homemade Bri-BQ sauce the last hour just for the sake of comparison and Oh My God in Heaven they were both so good I'm wishing I would have started this sooner. Accompanied with some Homemade baked beans let me tell ya yesterday, I was "SMOKIN". Anywhoo, today I'm smoking a 7lb Beef Tenderloin for my kids mom (they're not really kids anymore, but they're my kids) for Mothers Day and let me tell ya she loves her MEAT. I've smoked a lot of things in my life but by far food is my favorite thing to smoke. To be continued,,,,,
