Hi all! My name is Lisa and I am from Ontario, Canada. I have owned a couple of the "top loader" style smokers in the past, both charcoal and electric but am looking to upgrade to a cabinet style (electric) type. I have experience smoking ribs, fish, poultry and jerky. I have been asking around and have read some customer reviews but I get so overwhelmed when I do that I end up more confused than when I started. I would like to find a quality smoker and don't mind paying up to $500 if its a good unit. I am not interested in having to do any modifications, I want something that will suit my needs right out of the box so to speak. If anyone can point me to existing threads or provide any input at all that will help me make my choice feel free to chime in. I would really like to make a decision soon as I have been thinking about buying one for a while and just can't seem to decide on which one to get. Hoping this forum and its members can help me.
