Here goes nothing, The pulled pork was my first smoke ever and the ribs were done a week later. I was fortunate enough to get an 18" WSM for my birthday last month from my gf and have turned into a full blown smoke-a-holic over the last few weeks. Thank you all for this awesome community, if it weren't for all of you I would have probably given up by now but there is so much information available on here I don't seem to have enough time or money to try all the rubs, injections and cuts of meat I would like to. But enough talk onto the Q-View. By the way in an attempt to keep track of my success, failure, likes and dislikes in all of this I started a blog to document all of my experimenting. Its kind of q view heavy but if you want more pictures just look here:

I used a modified version of Jeff's Rub on both the pork shoulders and ribs but left the sauce alone on this first smoke. I have to add his bbq sauce is awesome!!!
For this first smoke I rubbed one butt with plain yellow mustard, and left the other plain before applying rub to both.
After sleeping over night they are ready for some smoke
A few hours in...
few hours later time for a quick spritz
Foiled
time to pull
yum....
served on hawaiian bread, with coleslaw and bbq sauce.
Also made chili with some of the left overs, more pics of the pulled pork and chili here:

Time for Ribs!!!
3 hours in
my neighbors cat supervising the process
they were so good I couldnt even take a picture before half the first rack was gone
I hope you liked it!
