I have seen that the McMaster Carr high temp silicone gasket have been used with adherence using permatex red high heat RTV silicone gasket maker. But they are only rated for 350 degrees and I was looking for a bolt on solution.
The mcmaster Carr 12335A61 looks like it would fit just lIke the original gasket and it's temp range is -100 to 500F .... it's rubber with a silicon bulb.... would that work best on a fridge build? Or would the rubber on it give off odors?
