I have some , that are dried out ,read they can be reconstituted in the frig overnight . Anyone do this and what were your results. They are 19 mm LEM mahogany snack stick casings. Thanks Don

XP3, Here is what one company says about collagen casings:Collagen Casings can be stored up to 2 years if unopened. Rehydrate in refrigerator overnight to reconstitute. Once opened, unused casings can be stored up to a year, in resealable pouch and stored in a refrigerator.

Never tried it but I think if you seal them in a bag with a lettuce leaf or two it might rehydrate them.

Thanks for getting back, i need to make more so they don,t dry out on me ! The lettuce trick sounds good i will give it a try . I have a vacuum sealer ,going to try that if i have unused casings next and keep them in the fridge. Thanks again Don
