smoke aholic from canada

  1. Hi every one giving this a try, love eating smoked meat.doing alot of googling on how to make snack sticks and such and keep coming to this place so here i far im using a little totem smoker to do jerkey, snack sticks which im calling summeronie for now and some bigger rolls of meat,my smoker only brings the internal temp up to 109 so i have to finsh in the oven so the house smells like a tee-pee for in the process of turning an old deep freeze in to a smoker but doing it low budget and on my own time.

    Im really enjoying all the help and coments im reading and cant wait to start adding some of my own.starting another 18lbs soon the locals around my block sure like eating the stuff and my son too but no one wants to help in the asking santa for a meat grinder,mixer and stuffer for xmas so i can really get in to it.also living on a lake and catching trout all the time i want to try smoking and canning
