Got a hankering for wings tonight so I fired up the Egg and tossed on these monster wings. Threw them on forzen - once they thawed out I dusted them with Yardbird rub and let them fo a few hours. That is a full size dinner plate...
They were pretty tasty...

Congrats on some good looking Q. At what temp did you smoke them at, and what kind of wood? Inquistive minds want to know. It's all good my friend.
 
I did them indirect on the Egg at about 250. There was a little hickory in there left over from the ABT's I did Tuesday. They went on frozen after about an hour I tossed on the rub and turned them over. Probably went about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. They were some of the biggest wings I have ever cooked. The skin did get crispy - which is how I like it. And Gnu - you are right... my brother in law came over and I had to hide the last few for my lunch today.

Maybe not necessarily fancy but they sure do look delicious.
I learned a while back from RonP that you could throw frozen wings on and they would smoke up perfectly fine.
If it wasn't going down to 39 degrees tonight (brrrrrrrrr...........) I would run out and grab a bag of frozen wings cause now I'm in the mood for some.
Oh well, now I know what's for dinner tomorrow
