Hi everybody. Been enjoying smoked meats all my life - especially pork ribs and Texas brisket, I'll have mine wet please. Not real easy to find here in Central California so I must start doing it myself. Been grilling all my life but smoking is what I crave. Bought an electric smoker (Masterbuilt 30" digital) to start trying to satisfy that craving. I've lived all over the country - my father was career Army and I travelled during my 9 Navy years - and love the regional varieties of smoking that have evolved. My wife of 35 years is not as much of a fan, opting for chicken almost every time, so i will be looking for ways to expand her culinary experiences.
