Hello All!

I'm Mike from Nassau County, NY. I'm very new to using a smoker and will be asking a lot of advice and questions, posting failures and successes (in due time)! I've been grilling for the past 30 years so this part of outdoor cooking is going to be a challenge and a lot of fun.

I was given a Brinkmann All-In-One a few weeks ago, it's a bit old with some rust that I'll be scraping off and painting but I think it's a good introduction. I'm pretty sure that once I start to become proficient, I'll upgrade. I plan on only using the charcoal/wood and not the gas part of the smoker.

I'm a big tailgate person, love grilling all types of meats, veggies, seafood and anything else. I enjoy a good beer while cooking and enjoying the atmosphere.

I look forward to meeting new friends, new recipes, and great advice!

Regards,

Mike
