Have the day off. Decided to smoke a beer can chicken. Then decided to throw in a few armadillo eggs for good measure. A 12 pack of Pabst helping me keep cool. So much better then working!!!

If I recall correctly they are usually a regular hard boiled egg with sausage or hamburger wrapped around the egg and then it'suppose to have bacon wrapped too. But I could be wrong. Now I do like the idea there Doj I haven't seen tham in a bit either.
 
Well here are the final results. Chicken juicy and tastes great. Armadillo Eggs awesome. Armadillo eggs are sausage wrapped around a jala

peno pepper that has been stuffed with cream cheese.
 
First I've heard of armadillo eggs but they look tasty!  Great looking yard bird, too -- nice job!

Actually, they are different. ABT's are jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon. (I like to put lil smokies in em too. These are molded around with italian sausage.
 
I didn't plan on smokin' anything this weekend, but I have to try smokin' those armadillo eggs.

By the way everything looks very good.
