Meatballs in Pre-made sauce?

  1. I'm going to be making some Italian venison meatballs soon and I would really like to combine them with spaghetti sauce for easy meals.

    Can I use store bought sauce? I figure I would cook the meatballs as I would normal sausage for canning, then heat them and the sauce up together before processing them in the pressure canner.
