We're throwing A retiement party for my Dad on the 9th of October.  Right now we are gestimating about 100 people or so.  My Sister is planning on keeping it mostly simple, with hamburgers and hotdogs with traditional sides.  I got my Dad started on fatties, and he just loves them, so I figured I'd make fatties, and some other smoked meats too (I will probably start a thread(s) for too).  I am needing to know how to figure out how many fatties to make, and how/when to best prepare them.  Right now (may change by the 9th of Oct.) I mainly use a GOSM charcoal smoker, so I am figuring I may have to pre-smoke them, and figure a way to warm them back up.  I haven't decided exactly what kind of fatties, other than ground beef.  I plan on making one Just for my Dad with ingredients he likes, and the rest will all be the same.

Thank you for any help.

I am not sure as there is the other food that will be there.  Depending on the on the size of the slices I would figure 1 or 2 per adult.

I usually cut them about an inch thik at most, Plus I will probably slim down on the meat as close to a pound each as I can.  I usually ise closer to two pound when I make mine. lol

I would say one fattie per 6 to 8 people since there will be other food there.  I would fully cook the fatty then just re heat to 140 before serving.
