Now I don't like alot of smoke on my chicken but hickory is the test today. Fired up the kettle with the vortex and a chunk of hickory over it. After a bit I flipped them. Still have some nice hickory smoke flowing. Sauced the chicken. Finished pics. We loved the hickory smoked chicken. When done right it works. I will be using more hickory on chicken from now on.
