My username is GuitarJeff but you can call me Jeff if you like. I'm considering adding a Kamado style cooker to my backyard Caribbean style cooking hut that I lovingly call "The Manhole". That's how I stumbled upon this forum...I enjoyed the reading so I decided to participate.
I'm not a pro by any means...but I'm no hack either. I'm from the Space Coast of central Florida and I grill year round, 3 to 5 days a week. I currently have a CharGrill Pro-Series Stainless 5 burner, a Weber 18.5 charcoal grill, a Brinkman Smoke 'n Grill, and a Char Griller with side firebox (forget the model but it's a smaller version). I mostly use the Weber followed by the CharGrill...nothing tastes as good as using hardwood lump charcoal. Gas is easy though when feeding a large group. Been thinking about losing some of these in favor of a Big Steel Keg or perhaps a Big Green Egg. I'll be digging-in (pun intended) to this with furvor...so I'll see you around!
Cheers,
GuitarJeff
