Hey guys! First post here and thought I would show you what I smoked today. First of all, thanks for all the information on this great forum. Helps so much. So I smoked a 2 pounder and change today in a bit under two hours on my BTLE. Used the minion method with briqs and mesquite chunks giving the flavor. Didn't get any pics of the smoke but here's what she looked like when it was done. wifey and the three kiddos devoured it!
Homemade mashed tators and broccoli to finish it out. The tiny bit of leftovers tomorrow will be getting sliced this and going to make some Au Jus Sammies:yahoo:

Nice looking Tri-Tip. I need to try one , but can't find them here around Toledo.

The Taters made it , nothing like some good old Taters . Those Sammies sound good too

Looks great (well except the green stuff). I need to smoke some beef. It's always good when the wife and kids love it.

Believe it or not the only place that sells TriTip around here (Erie Pa) is Walmart and believe it or not there pretty good. Once I tried TriTip, brisket moved to 2nd place. Great cut of beef.
