Here's a close up of the label. (It's a work in progress.)

Now the labels are pretty good but not very catchey thou. I have seen the latest runs of hot sauces and bbq sauces too. There's a store right down the road from me that says it has 2,000 differant rubs and sauces. Most of them have really crazy and colorful graphics on them. I would how ever like to hear a little mre of what's in it thou.

Good input, mballi! Thanks! As I said, the label is a work-in-progress. What do you think of a brick-wall for a background? I can Photoshop that in fairly easily.

I think I'd have to try it to provide accurate feedback on the label, Send me a case and I'll give you some pointers.

My apologies if I violated protocol. I should have posted it as a non-hyperlink.

  8. Is this image on the can serving as a resemblance to how you look when you are smoking meat?

That is pretty cool! How many types of sauces do you make?

That's a fairly accurate caricature of me on the label.

So far, just the one sauce. Would likely do a spicier version next.

Working with a contract-packager in Texas. They've come very close to duplicating the flavor on a larger scale.

i actually like the simplicity of the logo....when i see all those hot sauces with very similiar "wild and crazy colorful" logos i thinik it's hard to differintiate between them.  look at some of the other guys who have made it big and how simple there logos are...yours is actually very similar to Iron Works in Austin http://www.ironworksbbq.com.

Also Stubbs bbq sauce has a very simple logo.  i think your on to something.  and for the brick wall in the background,  dont think that is a good idea since your sauce is red, the red brick will just drown out.

i'm a web designer by day so those are my professional opinions ;)

keep going in the direction you are and i think your label will stand out.
