Oyster Mushroom, Crab, and Brie Soup

Finally got this done. Been wanting to do since I seen Keith's, indaswamp indaswamp thread. Really wanted to use oyster mushrooms which is why it took so long and why I went to 99 Ranch. Started with some crab cakes. These are from Sam's and are pretty good. Used some of Keith's Remoulade on them. I try to keep that stuff on hand.

I ended up halving the recipe which is still a lot of soup. Fried up the mushrooms. Was hard not to just eat them up they were so good. Still have another package.

This the crab from Sam's. Boy they pack the crab in there and it is pretty good. I doubled up on the crab. I still have 8 oz to do something with? Maybe Steve's crap devil eggs and some alfredo?

I used heavy cream for 1/3 of the half & half just because. This is a great soup! So tasty. Thanks for another good one Keith. Next one up is Steve's hot and sour.

Looks good Brian! I need to do Steve's hot and sour soup as well... been on my to do list for too long!
