Haven’t Posted anything in a While

I haven’t been posting much this last year.

I also haven’t committed are left likes on many, many threads. Sorry for that. I have a few friends on here that I hear from every day, either by email or text. If it looks like I only respond to their post, your right and I’m sorry for that. I don’t log onto SMF very much, so I miss a lot of great Threads.

The reason is, I’ve had a lot of health problems this past 12 months or so. Those of you who know me remember when I was Smoking, stuffing, and curing at least a couple of times a week. Just haven’t felt like it.

I do appreciate all the Likes and PM’s I was getting; I do enjoy helping folks who are learning how to smoke, grill, stuff and make all the great things that go with BBQ from scratch. Maybe in a couple more months I’ll get back into Smoking.

Again Thanks, and please don’t take it personal if I didn’t respond or comment to your post.

Wishing you the best Gary! Come back when you feel better and if you're in the mood. Just know I appreciate much you have shared with this forum. Not only you but many others, I learned alot just being a lurker for quite some time before I joined. Because of guys like you many have learned alot! And hopefully can and have passed on at least some of that knowledge.

Gary you have been missed but I completely understand about health problems. We just aren't getting any younger and it sucks and often times hurts but it's better than the alternative. Heal the best you can and I hope you heal quick and well and when you get the time and feel like it come on back more often we'll still be here I hope. I don't smoke anywhere near as much as I used to either.

My neighbor told me, “Getting old isn’t for wimps.” Lately I’ve learned how right he is. I hope you get to feeling better and can return to helping us new guys.

Sorry to hear about your health problems Gary. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t know how to smoke a brisket. I have some health problems too, and don’t smoke as much as I used to either. However I am smoking a meatloaf today, since we finally got a bit of cool weather. Hang in there Buddy, I know you’ll be back strong!!

WOW !!! So many Comments, I can't say how much that means to me. I do get a lot of pleasure helping others.
I've been that way in all aspects of my life. I have really enjoyed this forum and all the great info it has to offer.
I was just like many of you when it came to curing and stuffing, learned what I know from the members on this forum.
Again Thank you all

Gary
