Blackened catfish is an all-time fav of mine! When I was in the kitchen, I would just love the sizzle and smell when I dropped one in the CI for a customer! It's pure MONEY and you printed a whole plate of it!!!!! Nice work!

My day freed up today, so I went back....

Bigger fish today. More 2# fish, and a couple 3's.
Saw an 8, 10, and a 10+ foot gators today...

Thanks jcam! They were perfect eaters. The 'everything is right with the world" did not last....noticed the trailer tires leaning in at the top on both sides This morning....Crap! Now I gotta buy a new axle for the trailer! The shop is making it, will be ready sometime tomorrow...

Awesome job, on the fishing, and the grilling.
Why not fry in light olive oil, breaded in crushed pork rinds? It's totally Keto friendly.

Tubular axles SUCK!!!
Have them make it out of 3" or 4'' Galvi. channel or "I" beam steel with hubs, and it will out last you.

This axle corroded from the inside It had two alignment holes on top, one on each side, and a hole on the bottom in the middle for water to drain. Did not last long in salt water. The new axle is sealed....no holes. Came with some alignment clips...

Looks great, rivers have opened up and most of the open water is open now after this past week. Not sure when I will make time to get a line wet to see if I can find any walleye.

went with a buddy yesterday. We caught 30 channel cats. No pic. of the fish, I let him keep them since I still had fish to clean from the day before. But we did see a 12+ foot gator yesterday. A Big male...

Along with a 9' female...

This is the same lake that Troy Landry on Swamp people fishes for gators. He will have some nice gators to target this coming season for sure...

Spring catfish run is just starting here in south Louisiana, so time to break in my new boat. I went alone this past Saturday...after ironing out all the kinks, I finally got on the water around 9am.

First fish on the boat 5 minutes after I started fishing....

Bites came in waves... pick up 2-3 channel cats here...move and find more. Ended the day at 2pm with 11 nice channel cats all 1-2#. I did lose 4-5 fish and one was over 3# for sure. What a great day! enough fish for a meal which is all I was really after. Felt good to wet a line. First trip of the spring for me.

Saw a 10 footer, but he would not let me get any closer for a photo. The cypress knees make the gator look smaller than he really is. Trust me-he is a legit 10 footer...
