Put a pack of thighs on the weber as I arrived home late from the salt mine. Seasoned with Kosmos Killer Bee and started the chimney of kingsford professional. Added a couple chunks of pecan and set timer for 45 min.

It was windy out as rain is expected soon. 45 min was a bit too long but they came out good.

They look awesome but I thought you was a clock maker, you wound the springs.
thanks. I figured peachey needed help getting the Himalayan salt for the rub tweak. A friend In need is a friend indeed.

My weber don't seem to run that hot with vortex. I end up around 1.5 hours at 165-170. Kingsford professional burn that much hotter? Not available here.
it seems to. I get it at Costco on sale. Usually get a bunch of 2 packs for the year.
 
Man we were on the same wave length yesterday! I did the exact same thing right down to the pecan wood. Served mine up with a simple salad and baked tater.

Almost makes you not want to sauce but I have to. Blues Hog raspberry chipotle with Angry orchard as a thinner.
