Johnson Smokers did an amazing job with this creation! Best of both worlds when you want to sit back and relax and let the pellets do the thinking or if you want to do splits for that unbeatable authentic BBQ flavor. It's up to you! Also can be used as a charcoal grill with the charcoal tray.

Thanks again Chad, this thing is awesome!!

holy Sh*t all of that for $500 ?
nice looking rig.

That's a machine!
I'm wanting to see how the pooper does with the reverse flow plate.
Thanks. This thing is a 1000lb beast! It has 0.25" thick steel throughout.
So I don't suppose you'll taking that to Sebring in a month for the So FL Gathering?
IIRC, 1/4" is the thinnest steel they use?
No shortage of chimneys...
A Johnson trademark.

I like it! Instead of the little choo choo that could it's the big a-- smoker that can! I've seen them make smoked drinks before, but smoked pool water... :emoji_blush:

Wow, the pellet crucible is really down low! How hot can it get pellets-only?
I think the perfect role for this is to use pellets with the stick burner and let the pellet controller make up the temperature swings and finish off the cook as the first couple feeds of splits have burned out. Get 90% of the flavor of a offset with only 10% of the work/hassle.
Great looking machine. Must be a good conversation-starter as well.
