Hey guys, I just got a Brinkmann Charcoal Smoker with a rib rack insert. I have been tryinh to "slow" cook on the gas grill but no luck. Anyways, I worked at a small bbq restruant when I was 16 and got hooked from there. I also am on clubstogie and smoke cigars too. Thanks!

Welcome to the SMF

Welcome 688, glad to have you on board.

IC! Yep, me too. Back during the Nam era, Gator Navy, Norfolk. I had 4 guys. Gyros (I had 2 main & 4 in boats), sound powered phones, wind speed indicators, ship speed indicators, PA systems, movie projectors. Med cruises, Gitmo........... Yeah, I remember.

Bet it's hard to keep that smoker lit on a sub.

Welcome 688, ex carrier and LST QMIII here. Lived in Little Creek the last part of my enlistment. Welcome to SMF, there is a ton of knowledge here for the asking.
