Greetings all,
Cooking with Ry is one of my favorite YouTube channels and last week or so he did a smoked corned beef. So I had to try it.

No soaking in water just followed his rub of pepper, paprika, red pepper flakes, EVOO, and maple syrup. Onto the smoker between 240-250 with some post oak and we were off. I wrapped in butcher paper at 160. A total of Six and a half hours later it was pulled at 190.

Sliced it up and it’s out of this world good. Should I have let it sit in water overnight? Maybe. But it doesn’t even matter it’s so good.

Gonna have some nice sandwiches this week!

Looks great! I'm in the middle of curing a whole brisket for pastrami. Hoping to post some info if it turns out good.

Thanks everyone. Appreciate the comments!

Nice!!!
We love corned beef - I am going to have to give this a try. Did you start with a pre-seasoned corned beef point?

Yep I just picked up a standard point cut corned beef from the meat area of the grocery store. Nothing fancy or homecured.
