Ok i had a guy i work with build me a 1 inch thick plywood smoker out of scrap pieces we had in the shop.I was originally planning on not getting the smoker above 200 degrees for smoking sausage but have since decided to use it for bbq type meats as well like ribs, brisket etc.My question is will the glue used to hold the plywood together poise any health problems at say 250 degrees? is that even a safe temp to get a wooden smoker up to ??? thanks for the feedback

No problem, I've had mine as high as 290°.  Just make sure you use a good drip pan and don't allow grease to get anywhere near the flame.  See my smokehouse thread on my sig line titled "Smokehouse".
