My name is Doug and i live inTtracy ,CA.  I wanted to say thanks to you Jeff,  found your web site a week or so ago, really help full, thought i knew how to bar b q, ha ha found out how much i did'net know. i just purchased a weber smoky mountian smoker. looking forward to using it next week. I've  been pouring over all the great articles and reviews of products, plus the links to additional sites is awesome. Thank you for the help. Also going to get that rub recipe in the next week or so to try that along with the bar b q sauce!!!

after much reading i decided to go with the 18 inch due to some one said the 22 had hi temp issues, 
 
Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
