Had some questions about what some things look like in general about the Grill/Smoker.
No pros and cons in this thread, just what it looks like. Pros and Cons will be in my review thread.

First a view in the sun.

Next the TBS. It is pretty thin, but it always there.

there.

Inside the 40# hopper. Auger is only 8" long.

The Burn Pot...
Pellets slide down the ramp (the narrow part in pic) into the pot.

Burn Pot is below the cook chamber. Latches on front and rear.

Opening where Burn Pot slides into.
The Ceramic Igniter is inside that square tube.
Fan blows air over over it and the hot stream of air goes into burn pot to ignite the pellets.

The Deflector Plate.

Deflector Plate with top slid over for direct flame cooking.
To use direct flame cooking, steak, burger, or whatever, you put the Fireboard Controller into Manual Mode.
Then you control the temp by adjusting auger speed from 0 to 100%.

The Grease Pit. Has a 1-1/4" hole in bottom.

Chimney port. At lower grate level.

The grates. Standard are expanded metal. I got the SS ones.

The Grease Bucket/Drain.
LSG doesn't give you a grease bucket or the liners.
There is a hook for hanging one though.
All the videos I've watched showed having the ball valve attached.
I originally thought it was included, bur alas, it wasn't.
Besides the obvious of stopping grease that could run out.
Important if you have a grease collection container under there at all times.
It also stops smoke from exiting there. There was a lot of it.
I ordered a valve this morning. :emoji_slight_smile:

Pellet Hopper Lid.
Originally they didn't have hinges on the lid.
Lot of complaints about that in YouTube videos. Guess they listened...

This is the Pellet Dump.
Useful for changing type of pellets, or just removing them if you are in a humid climate.

I forgot the most important accessory, the Pencil Pusher. Haha
Fireboard Controller has 3 buttons on left side that are small and recessed a bit.
My fat fingers don't work to well with them, so I use the Pencil Pusher.

Oh that, it is a box of Nitrile gloves and a holder for them.
Holder can be permanently mounted or use the 4 magnetic feet.
Always need gloves when cleaning a grill/smoker.

I'm in line for the new LSG Cabinet Pellet smoker. I noticed that you have the SS grate upgrade on your rig (which looks great). Are you happy with/would do again the upgrade? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new smoker.
I am very happy with them. Easy to clean.
Sorry about late reply. I was on vacation and just got back last night.
