Hey ya'll. New to the site. Seems to be a lot of good info here. I have been grilling and smoking in a regular barrel type grill for many years. Today, I finally broke down and bought a true wood smoker with a firebox. I have been seasoning with good seasoned hickory for almost 6 hours now. How long should I keep the season fire going to get it right to start smoking? I plan on slamming a bunch of baby backs on it tomorrow.

Welcome and congrats on that new smoker.   Not sure on seasoning time but maybe someone else will jump in and let you know.
