Chicken for 13 on the grill, and still room for more.

That's a whole lot of good looking thighs John. Nicely done.

Now that's a pretty sight! All thighs I assume? What's your process?
Thanks.

These got conservatively doused with corn oil, liberally dusted with my Chile's Chicken Rub, then mixed till they were all equally covered and then given several hours in the fridge.
Onto a 375° grill, dusted with more Rub and sprayed with more corn oil.
1.5 hours and they all averaged 180°-185°.
No turn, no burn, no fuss. no muss.
The RT1250 is a chicken machine.
Man, that looks awesome John! On the RT?
Thanks Justin.
Yes the RT, it's my only cooker now.
damn 27 thighs for 13 people, you are some big eaters down there!!!
LOL! Aw c'mon... That's only two thighs per person. I make sure people get well fed.
Mmmm! Thighs my favorite.
Family favorite here too!
Yep looks Amazing!! Love chicken thighs!!
Thank you! Yep, yep, yep.

Nice the RT1250 is a thigh machine!
Dang sure is, like an Easy Bake Oven.
And it does spatchcocked birds the same way.
Puts note in phone. Buy thighs.

First looks great John, and just rubbed or did you brine or inject ?

Second in the way my math works you said chicken for 13, 27 pieces = 2 each for the 13 folks.
The odd one is mine all mine you hear. ( The sound of creepy organ music plays in the background )

Wow , its early .

David
Appreciated David.

The odd one was for quality assurance, aka Chef's Snack.

These were just marinated and rubbed.

As always Chris, thanks for the Point!
And for the compliment too.
Yeah, those look really good!
Thanks man.
Great looking cook reminds of me of when the kids were home.

Warren
Thanks Warren, we still have our three at home, our family numbers seven with our elderly in-laws.
We also fed another family whose matriarch is in the hospital, her kids and other family are in-town due to her condition, so the other six were there.
I'm thinking someone would be eating a bologny sammich. I'd be all over those thighs.

Jim
LMAO... You might be hard pressed to keep your own two with this crowd.
Momma has to stand there saying, "Take two, and only two."
