They http://www.bbqrsdelight.com/ do have a better rate....only have to but 12 packs for free shipping instead of 12 like the other site..... The common pellets like Hickory, Mesquite and etc. I but at my local ACE hardware....he sells them for 18.95 for I think is a 20 lb. bag. but he doesn't carry any of the uncommon woods...!!!

I have seen them before and but not the website that I have never seen. Those pellets are how much.?? I'll look and see what they are at the plae I get my stuff at.
 
This brings up a question that I've mulled over the past few weeks. What's the difference between Traeger-style pellets (not necessarily Traeger pellets), which use from 20-35% of the advertised wood (the rest being "filler" wood like oak or alder) and pellets that use 100% of the advertised wood? To me, it seems if I can get pellets that are 100% apple versus 30% apple, the former is the winner every time. Am I missing something, or is the regional pellet maker on to something good here?
