I didn't want to hang my maverick 732 on my 22.5 WSM…I think it could get too hot so take a look at this!! It is a $1.99 marker used for the snow to mark curbs, hydrants, etc so the snow plow knows to stay clear. I cut a disk out of 1/4 inch plywood and drilled a hole in the center. Now the maverick has a nice distance to the smoker. The hook is over the rod so it cannot fall in a breeze!

Hmmm, I like that , i need one with a flat bottom for sitting on Cement in front of the Garage. Got some dowels and screws...
