I know I do these quite a bit, but we have many new people joining weekly.

I am using mesquite and hickory and get temp to about 115' and sear on the weber gas. In the mean time I have a turkey breast ready to go on for tomorrow.

More to come, thanks for watching.

Ron/everyone those are rib steaks .... not rib eye's , the rib eye is actually the circular clear meat in the center of the steak , with the bone and fat removed ... f.y.i .... great steaks , just not ribeye .

You are right, sorry. I think when I was in the business they were called rib eye rolls.

I guess we should hold our supermarkets to a higher standard in labeling.

Plated with smoked scalloped potatoes.

I hope I haven't confused anyone here. Next time I will try and remember to call it what it is, Rib Steak, not ribeye steak.

Thanks for watching.

Lemme try 1 to 14 of 'em with a lot of draught beer and I'll tellya exactly what they're called... they're called DELICIOUS! Great smoke!

I was going to say exactly the same thing

. Looks great Ron. I would have thought it was a ribeye, close enough

Thanks everyone.

As long as you knew what I was talking about that's all that matters.

If you want to get technical a prime rib isn't a prime rib unless it is graded USDA prime.

As long as it is good, who cares.

It's all good Ron, looks great to me!!

Ma called me and said she didn't want leftover pulled pork from yesterdays smoke but wanted steak and mushrooms instead. She was in the grocery store and asked me if I wanted a T-bone or a Porterhouse steak. ..hmm. . . Gee Honey-I think you ought to bring Mr. Porter home.

Nice marks on the eye. Everything looks very good hope you enjoy!

Thanks, Dutch hope you enjoy your Porter. When I had the restaurant, we served a 28 ounce honker and we cut our own. Talk about picking out the best of the best. Since the meat standards were lowered years ago, it isn't that easy to find a good porter in the grocers. Now I prefer a rib steak over a porter.

Thanks.

Thanks they were good and easy.

Thanks man.

Thanks buddy.

Here is a little story. This morning Carol asks me how my steak was. I said you didn't leave me any. You see we usually split one. Because it was late and she was hungry I served her the whole thing. She said I'm sorry, I couldn't eat the whole thing so I shared it with Jackpot and Luckie.

Damned dogs ate better than me, all I had was turkey breast.
