Trying my hand at BBB

  1. So I've made a couple CB's and figure it's time to try something else. Got a butt deboned it and into pop's brine. Guess we'll see what happens after a little soak. Also got another loin soaking. Mmmmmmm bacon!

    I have a whole bone in loin going in pops brine tomorrow.

  14. You will most likely love BBB. A local meat company makes it and calls it  "Hillbilly Bacon". A guy at work gave me some one year for Xmas. I was instantly hooked on that stuff. Thanks to the SMF I learned how to make my own.

  16. How long do you guys normally let your BBB soak? I'm figuring the same time as my CB but I didn't inject this loin so thinking it will take longer. Should I pull the BBB at the 11 days I've been going for my CB?
