A guess would be 35-45 minutes per lb at 225 of course I'm going by memory I don't have my notes with me

Jerry maybe we need to try a couple of those at the Fla gathering this spring!  Not sure we had enough food last time

Well, I'm inspired.  There was a sale a few weeks ago and I picked up a 4 lb prime rib.  (But it's been trimmed- no ribs and it's kind of rectangular.  looks like the middle section of a full prime rib roast).  If it defrosts in time, I'll be smoking it for dinner.  We eat late in our house, so it still might happen.  I work the next 7 days so it'll be the oven for it if not.

Hurry... DEFROST!!!

I'll post QView if I get to smoke it...
