Pork Butt and Pork Loin w/ Q-view ... Pork-taste-tic!

    pork-taste-tic smoking from this past weekend!

    butts took 13 hours @ 260 and the pork loin came off after 2.5 hours

    pork loin in brine


    the pork butts


    2am.. smoke time


    1/2 way thru


    off, rested in a cooler, and wrapped in towels for 3 hours


    pulling...super tender


    pork loin off and rested 30 mins


    sliced


    also made pasta salad w/ roasted peppers

    Haha, could have pulled up a chair , had 14 ppl for dinner .

    a few leftover things done with the pulled pork

    Pulled Pork Pizza

    made a roasted pepper sauce for the base, and on top is pulled pork, grilled red onion, goat cheese, oven roasted tomato, spinach pesto, topped with green onion. Finished with a drizzle of roasted garlic oil and (not shown, reduced fig balsamic)

    and...

    Pulled Pork Tacos

    used cilantro lime curry aioli, broccoli slaw, red onion, spinach, green onion, cilantro, lime and kaffir lime leaf infused jasmine rice.
