  1. A transplanted Kansan to the natural state actually. My wife bought me a Horizon horizontal smoker for my birthday (great isn't she), and I'm just starting to get it figured out. I've recently done spare and baby back ribs, and did a couple chickens this past weekend. We are entertaining this weekend so I'm going to try my hand at a brisket. Wish me luck! Great site!! Welcome and check out the search engine for brisket. The "Okie" method seems to rule. It does at my place anyway! And be ready for a long smoke. A case at least heh! Enjoy!
