Hello to everyone.  Just found this forum which is very cool.  My name is Jim and I'm kind of retired.  I am an independent all lines claims adjuster and only work hurricane damaged areas.    I've been smoking for ten years or so but on a traditional smoker.  About 6 months ago I picked up a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker with the clear window on the front.  It is a 40" model.  Have to say it is a lot easier than the old way I used to smoke and so far the results have been great.   Look forward to sharing what little I know and learning new tricks on smoking.  

I have a Storm Bassboat and whenever I find the time I try to go lose a few lures and maybe catch a bass or 2.

First off welcome to SMF there Jim. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
